  • Light: Full sun, at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily, for the best blooms and healthiest growth.

  • Water: Water regularly while your rose is establishing, keeping soil consistently moist. New plantings need more frequent watering than established ones.

  • Space: Plan for a mature size of about 4 feet tall and wide. Space multiple plants 3 to 4 feet apart if planting as a border or hedge.

Feed in early spring and again in early fall with an all-purpose fertilizer to support strong, continuous blooming. In the coldest zones, some winter protection can help this rose come back strong each year.

Can I grow it in a container or patio planter, or does it need a garden? ?

Both. The Champion Sunblush thrives in a sunny garden bed and also does well in a generous container, at least sixteen to twenty inches in diameter with good drainage. This makes it a good fit for patios, balconies, and small yards.
