  • Light: Full sun. Aim for 6 to 8 hours of direct sunlight daily for the best fruiting and healthiest growth.

  • Water: Water deeply and regularly during the first year to help the grafts establish. Once settled, keep soil evenly moist through bloom and fruiting, tapering off between.

  • Space: Plan for a mature spread of about 8 to 12 feet. Give it room away from walls, fences, or other trees.

Prune in late winter to keep the canopy open and give each grafted variety equal room to grow, taking care never to remove a graft entirely. A light tip-prune after harvest encourages new fruiting wood for next season.
