Braided Benjamina Ficus Treebute
A Graceful Living Tribute That Grows With Care
The Braided Benjamina Ficus is a graceful, broadleaf evergreen tree with glossy, dark green oval leaves that arch softly downward from slender branches, giving it the gentle, layered quality that earned it the name "weeping fig." Its most distinctive feature is its braided trunk, formed by intertwining several young stems as they grow, creating a sculptural silhouette that brings structure and calm to any indoor space.
Each Treebute is a complete memorial tree kit designed to be planted at home, a hands-on ritual that many people find grounding and healing.

-

Nurturing Your Memorial Tribute
The Braided Benjamina Ficus likes a stable spot, steady watering, and plenty of indirect light.
-
Light: Bright, indirect light is best. A spot near an east or west-facing window with 6 or more hours of indirect light daily works well. Avoid cold drafts and heating vents.
-
Water: Water when the top 1-2 inches of soil feel dry. Water thoroughly until it drains from the bottom, then empty the saucer. Never let the pot sit in standing water.
-
Humidity: This tree has tropical roots and appreciates humidity. Misting the leaves occasionally, or placing a pebble tray with water beneath the pot, helps keep the foliage healthy, especially during drier winter months.
That's it: Consistency is key. Give it a few weeks to settle into your home and it will reward you with steady, lush growth.
A Note on Leaf Drop:
Ficus are sensitive to change and may drop some leaves when moved to a new environment. This is normal. Give it time and it’ll bounce back full and beautiful as ever. Think of it as your tree settling into its new home.
Optional: Plant with Cremation Ashes - The Treebute® Difference
