Can it really live in a container, or does it need to be planted in the ground?

It can do either. The Bonanza is a genetic dwarf, bred to stay compact at four to six feet tall, which makes it well suited to a large container on a patio, deck, or balcony, or to a spot directly in the ground.

How long until it produces peaches?

Many Bonanza Patio Peach trees begin bearing fruit within one to three years, with blossoms opening in early spring and ripe peaches ready by midsummer.

Can I grow the Bonanza Patio Peach indoors?

The Bonanza Patio Peach is an outdoor tree and needs several hours of direct sun each day to bloom and bear fruit, so it is not suited to growing indoors. It does very well in a container on a sunny patio or balcony. The high sodium and pH levels create conditions that are hostile to root development. If you want your memorial tree to thrive for years to come, using the Treebute Organic Soil Blend is essential when incorporating ashes.
