  • an additional bag of potting mix (for indoor trees),
  • an appropriately sized saucer tray to catch excess water (for indoor trees),
  • 1-2 bag of mulch (for outdoor planting),
  • Gardening gloves, a watering can or hose, and a wheeled dolly (for rotating and moving heavier indoor planters) are also helpful to have on hand before starting.
