At Treebute®, we pour care into every tree, plant, and kit we deliver. Whether you’ve purchased a Treebute to honor a loved one or pet, to create a personal memorial, or as a meaningful gift, each one is meant to grow as a lasting expression of life and remembrance.

How Our Warranty Works

How long do I have to report an issue with my Treebute order?

You must notify Treebute of any problems within 30 days of delivery. After this inspection period, we are unable to provide replacements, refunds, or credits.

What qualifies for a replacement or refund?

Your order may qualify if:

The tree or kit is a different variety than what was ordered, or
The item does not meet reasonable quality expectations upon arrival.

What proof do I need?

We may ask for photos and a brief description so we can quickly understand the concern and confirm eligibility.

What will Treebute do if there’s a problem?

If your claim is approved within the 30-day window, Treebute will, at our discretion:

Send a replacement tree or kit, or
Issue a refund or credit for the affected item.

If a return is needed, Treebute will arrange it at no cost to you.

What’s Not Covered

Shipping Stress: Live plants may look tired after shipment but should recover well with proper watering, light, and time. Shipping stress alone is normal and not considered a defect.
Natural Variations: Each tree and plant is unique, with natural differences in size, shape, and seasonal appearance. These variations are not considered defects.
Beyond 30 Days: Claims made after the 30-day inspection period are not eligible.
Growing Conditions: Once planted, the health of your tree depends on care and environmental conditions outside our control, and we cannot guarantee long-term survival.
Use of Cremation Ashes: If you incorporate cremation ashes, they must be combined with the Let Your Love Grow® organic soil blend included in select kits. This patented product balances the high pH and sodium levels in ashes. Using cremation ashes without Let Your Love Grow® will void this warranty.
