Treebute Plants Living Legacies in
Kirkwood

In celebration of Arbor Day 2025, the Treebute Team rolled up their sleeves, grabbed shovels, and got their hands in the dirt alongside volunteers, city staff, and officials to help plant trees across the Kirkwood community — including a special planting in front of the Kirkwood Police Department.
Coming Together to Grow Something Lasting
The City of Kirkwood’s Arbor Day event was a powerful reminder of the impact of community action. Volunteers of all ages gathered across the city, united by a shared purpose: to give back to the environment and beautify the neighborhoods we call home. Guided by city staff and officials, more than 40 trees were planted throughout Kirkwood’s parks, public spaces, and civic buildings.
Treebute was especially honored to participate in the planting in front of the Kirkwood Police Department — a location that represents protection, service, and unity. Watching new trees take root in such meaningful spaces reinforced why our work matters. At Treebute, we exist to create living legacies. Whether we are helping families honor loved ones with hardy memorial trees or supporting hometown efforts like Arbor Day, our mission remains the same: To make it easy and convenient to honor life while doing good for the planet.
Why Arbor Day Matters (and Why Treebute Cares)
Arbor Day has long been a celebration of hope, growth, and stewardship. Across the country, communities come together to plant trees that will benefit generations to come — and Kirkwood’s Arbor Day 2025 was no exception. This day aligns perfectly with Treebute’s mission. Trees not only clean the air and provide shelter for wildlife, but they also create peaceful, sacred spaces for communities to gather and heal.
By joining Kirkwood’s Arbor Day celebration, we didn’t just plant trees — we helped plant a future.
Events like this inspire us to continue growing Treebute’s impact, one living tribute at a time. They remind us that everyone has a role to play in nurturing the world we leave for future generations.
Trees are much more than beautiful additions to our landscapes. They:
- Clean our air and water
- Provide vital habitat for wildlife
- Offer shade, comfort, and healing spaces for communities
- Stand as living symbols of resilience and hope
At Treebute, we know planting a tree isn’t just about landscaping — it’s about planting purpose. It’s about gifting future generations with something that will continue to grow, shelter, and inspire long after we’re gone.
Our mission is to make it easy and meaningful for individuals and groups to give tribute trees that create lasting impact — whether through a Group Tree Gift in memory of a loved one, a tree installation in celebration of a milestone, or a donation to a community planting effort like Kirkwood’s Arbor Day.
A Special Shoutout to Our Budding Journalist!
We also want to give a special shoutout to our enthusiastic junior journalist who eagerly documented the day’s events!
Armed with curiosity and a digital camera (which, humorously, was accidentally filming the wrong way), she interviewed Kirkwood officials, city staff, and volunteers, capturing the spirit and energy of Arbor Day 2025.
While we may not have all the footage we hoped for, her enthusiasm captured the true heart of Treebute: celebrating growth, learning, and making memories that will last a lifetime.
Treebute’s Mission: Planting Living Legacies
At Treebute, we believe trees are more than plants — they are symbols of life, memory, and enduring love.
Whether we’re planting trees in our local communities or installing memorial trees on personal properties across the country, everything we do is rooted in one shared purpose:
To honor life with strength, beauty, and deep roots.
A Treebute tree is not just a tribute; it’s a living legacy that grows, flourishes, and inspires for decades.
- Memorial Trees celebrate the sacred memory of loved ones.
- Celebration Trees honor milestones like births, weddings, and anniversaries.
- Tribute Trees mark important life moments with meaningful, lasting gifts.
Each tree we plant — whether in Kirkwood or in a backyard across the country — reminds us that life, love, and community can grow stronger year after year.
Giving a Treebute tree is simple, meaningful, and lasting.
Whether you’re honoring a loved one, celebrating a life moment, or giving back to your community, a Treebute tree is a gift that grows stronger with time.
